The Crew fundraising golf
tournament, originally scheduled for September 7, has been
cancelled.
Crew will be present at the Festival
on the Green on Sunday, September 14. As part of our
participation in the Festival, we are selling sponsorships for
tent banners and a T-shirt that will be sold to students,
parents, families, and the general public. Sponsors can be area
businesses, families, or individuals. Get the
sponsorship form
and submit it by August 18. T-shirts should be ordered using the
same sponsorship form (rowers particpating in the Festival will
receive a free T-shirt).
Crew is trying out the MoxMe
notification service to improve communication with parents and
rowers. You'll want to join the E.O. Smith Crew Parents group or
the E.O. Smith Crew group (rowers). What's cool is that MoxMe's
home is Mansfield, CT!

1. The winning tradition--who doesn't like state championships?
Our Girls Varsity 4 boat won the
Founder's Trophy in the 2008 CPSRA regatta with the
fastest time ever (6:00.8) in this CPSRA event. The Boys Varsity
4 boat won the Henry Petty Cup. Congratulations to all rowers
for a great state championship meet!
