Spring Season (2007)

Preseason conditioning begins February 28

Practices begin March 19

• Monday through Friday, Patriots Park on Wangumbaug (Coventry) Lake (Directions)
• Bus leaves school at 2:30 p.m. and returns at 6:00 p.m.
• Saturday or Sunday practices will occur until regattas begin

March 19: E. O. Smith Health Clearance form due (and Impact Test if you are not current)

March 20: Swim Test and U.S. Rowing video (both required)

March 21: All paperwork due to the coaches

Tuesday, March 27, 5:15 p.m.: Kickoff Dinner (meet in school auditorium)

Saturday, March 31, 9 a.m. to noon: Practice (time is approximate)

Saturday, April 7, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. : Practice (time is approximate)

CANCELLED: Saturday, April 7: Greenwich Invitational; Grass Island, Greenwich, CT (Directions)

Sunday, April 15, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Practice at E. O. Smith High School

Spring Break practices (April 16 - 20)

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: Two practices daily, 8:00 - 10:15 a.m. and 2:30 - 5:30 p.m.
• Tuesday: All day practice, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
• Friday, Saturday, Sunday: No crew activities

CANCELLED: Sunday, April 22: Possible ropes course at Holiday Hill Camp

Wednesday, April 25, 3:30 p.m.: Home meet with South Kent (boys only), Wangumbaug (Coventry) Lake, CT (Directions)

Saturday, April 28, 9 a.m.: Home meet with Lewis S. Mills, Wangumbaug (Coventry) Lake, CT (Directions)

Sunday, April 29, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Practice (time is approximate)

Wednesday, May 2, 3:30 p.m. (leave school at 1:30 p.m.): Away meet with Lincoln (girls only), Narragansett Boat Club, East Providence, RI (Directions)

Sunday, May 6: Founders' Day (leave school at 5 a.m.); Lake Waramaug, New Preston, CT (Directions)

Saturday, May 12, 9 a.m. (leave school at 7 a.m.): Away meet with Lyme Old Lyme, Rogers Lake, Old Lyme, CT (Directions)

Saturday, May 19 (leave school at 5 a.m.): Smith Cup, Lake Waramaug, New Preston, CT (Directions)

Sunday, May 20 (leave school at 5 a.m.): Connecticut Public School Championships (CPSRA); Lake Waramaug, New Preston, CT (Directions)

Saturday, May 26 (leave school at 6 a.m. or 7 a.m.): New England Championships (NEIRA); Lake Quinsigamond, Worcester, MA (Directions)

Saturday, June 2 (leave school at 6 a.m. or 7 a.m.): Emerson Regatta; Connecticut River at Middletown, CT (Directions)
